Some mysterious person breaks The Wizard out of prison and they plan to kill Spider-Man. They track him to his apartment building where they plan to blow up the roof during a tenants meeting. But Peter returns from a photo shoot as Spider-Man and fights Wizard and his friend on another roof. They blow the roof anyway, forcing Spider-Man to save everybody before they’re burned alive. The issue ends as something goes wrong while he’s trying to save the last person.
