He calls a man named Thorpe and the police into the woods. It was the police captain who molested and killed the boys. His confession is caught on tape. He is shot by some hunters as he runs away from Wolverine. The true story gets out in the media.

“Perceptions: Part 4” Rating: 5/5 Writer: Todd McFarlane Artist: Todd McFarlane Peter tries to convince the reporter and the police that the Wendigo may not be the culprit of the murders. He is unsuccessful. Wolverine cleans Wendigo’s wounds and befriends him and they find another boy’s body buried in the woods.

Spider-Man #10 (1991)

“Perceptions: Part 3” Rating: 5/5 Writer: Todd McFarlane Artist: Todd McFarlane The Wendigo attacks the hunters and they run away. Wolverine fights it until it leaves. Wolverine contacts Spidey and they meet up in the woods. Wolverine tells him that the Wendigo didn’t kill the children, it was somebody in the town. The Wendigo has only been killing and eating deer. “Perceptions: Part 2” Rating: 4/5 Writer: Todd McFarlane Artist: Todd McFarlane The search for the beast continues. It now has a name: Wendigo. Peter trades facts with the local reporter on the case and Wolverine hunts the animal. Some local hunters find the Wendigo and shoot it.

“Perceptions: Part 1” Rating: 5/5 Writer: Todd McFarlane Artist: Todd McFarlane Some beast in Canada is eating children. It’s all over the media and Peter is sent there to cover the story. Wolverine shows up as well to try and stop the madness.
