Peter Parker, the Spectacular Spider-Man #036 (1979)

“Enter: Swarm!”

Rating: 4/5

Writer: Bill Mantlo
Artist: Jim Mooney

This issue starts with a really cool scene of Spider-Man capturing some escaping bank robbers for the police. He peels back the roof of a car and a whole other bunch of fun stuff.

The issue itself is about the awakening of a villain called Swarm who’s a swarm of bees that take the form of a man around the skeleton of a Nazi who once controlled them. And also collectively embody his consciousness.
