“The Vibranium Vendetta, Part 3: The Machine and the Man”

Ultron-13 steals a box of the synthetic vibranium. Iron Man and Sunturion follow him into the sewer, defeat him, and get the vibranium back. The synthetic vibranium in its raw form turns into antarctic vibranium and melts metal. Iron Man figures out a way to get it all safely away before it melts all of New York.

Sunturion is about to blast everyone when Iron Man comes in and takes him out. Spider-Man hits Sunturion with a microwave beam that turns him back into Arthur Dearborn. Everybody leaves. Ultron-13 wants the Vibranium to make himself invincible and creates an army of androids to steal it. Iron Man, Spidey, and Black Panther reconvene at the Roxxon lab later. Spidey and Panther fight the android army and Ghost fights Ultron-13. Ghost loses. Iron Man stops Dearborn from getting away and downloads data from Roxxon’s computer. Ultron-13 agrees to help Kingpin get the secrets of the synthetic vibranium.

Roxxon Oil creates a synthetic version of the rare and expensive new element Vibranium. Kingpin hires The Ghost to steal the secrets and destroy the lab. Spider-Man and Black Panther are suspicious of Roxxon and investigate their lab just as The Ghost breaks in. They fight him for a while and then Sunturion shows up to kill all of them for trying to destroy Roxxon property.

Spider-Man returns home, small as a bee, and explains to MJ what happened. She takes him to Harry’s lab where they try something, but Spider-Man just keeps getting smaller. He eventually becomes smaller than the smallest nuclei and lands on a microscopic world where they try to capture him. He continues getting smaller and lands in some kind of spaceship where he’s captured by Psycho-Man.

Spider-Man assembles Puma, Prowler, Rocket Racer, and Sandman to retrieve info about the building the black cloud came out of. Puma and Prowler find info in the office of Kingpin, Racer and Sandman find info in the Building Department office in City Hall. But as they’re leaving, Sandman attacks Racer for the file. Racer bolts and Sandman turns into The Space Phantom. Spider-Man finds the black cloud at the zoo, eating monkeys. The Avengers show up and save him from it. Spidey still thinks She-Hulk is lying and leaves. When he meets back up with his team, Racer and Sandman are squabbling about the attack. Sandman says he was never there. Spidey realizes that he’s probably telling the truth, and She-Hulk was probably telling the truth as well. Kristy (MJ’s cousin) sees MJ with Jason as he kisses her. MJ runs away.
