Peter Parker, the Spectacular Spider-Man #033 (1979)

“Night of the Iguana!” Rating: 4/5 Writer: Bill Mantlo Artist: Jim Mooney The Iguana has all the powers of Lizard and the memories of Connors. Iguana goes to Connors’ house to use his family as insurance that Connors will not try to destroy him. Connors purposefully changes into the Lizard to go fight Iguana. Spider-Man’s already at the penthouse fighting Iguana when Connors shows up.

The Amazing Spider-Man #166 (1977)

“War of the Reptile-Men!” Rating: 3/5 Writer: Len Wein Artist: Ross Andru Spider-Man battles the Lizard. Harry Osborn and Liz Allen announce their engagement. Introduction of Spider-Slayer IV. Stegron battles the Lizard. Stegron re-animates three dinosaurs which wreak havoc in the city. Spider-Man battles Stegron and the Lizard. The Lizard is defeated but Stegron escapes only to fall into hibernation induced by the New York winter.

“Stegron Stalks the City!” Rating: 3/5 Writer: Len Wein Artist: Ross Andru Stegron kidnaps Curtis Connors, Dr. Connors son, so that Dr. Connors will create a weapon for him. Peter makes up with Mary Jane. J. Jonah Jameson hires Dr. Marla Madison to create the Spider-Slayer IV. Stegron battles Spider-Man using re-animated dinosaur skeletons. The Lizard re-appears.

“Vampire at Large!” Rating: 5/5 Writer: Roy Thomas Artist: Gil Kane Spider-Man and the Lizard battle Morbius and Spider-Man regains his original number of arms.

The Amazing Spider-Man #077 (1969)

“In the Blaze of Battle!” Rating: 4/5 Writer: Stan Lee Artist: John Buscema Human Torch joins the fight against the Lizard, although Spider-Man fears he may injure Dr. Connors.
