“Torment: Part 5” Rating: 4/5 Writer: Todd McFarlane Artist: Todd McFarlane Everybody’s still alive. The poison should’ve killed Spider-Man by now, but he persists. He eventually defeat Lizard with a chain and Kraven’s girlfriend leaves, defeated. Spider-Man leaves and goes back home to MJ.

“Torment: Part 4” Rating: 4/5 Writer: Todd McFarlane Artist: Todd McFarlane Spider-Man was hallucinating about seeing Kraven. It was actually Kraven’s old girlfriend, Calypso, standing before him. She takes him back to the house where she’s performing her evil deeds. Spider-Man eventually musters enough strength to break his binds and attack The Lizard. Some fire hits a ruptured gas line and the house explodes.

Spider-Man #3 (1990)

“Torment: Part 3” Rating: 4/5 Writer: Todd McFarlane Artist: Todd McFarlane Spider-Man fights the Lizard. Lizard bests him, but his commander tells him not to eat him, but throw him to the ground below. Spider-Man lies in a garbage heap before awakening and seeing Kraven with a hole in his head talking to him.

DeMatteis Artist: Mike Zeck Spider-Man finds Vermin and brings him up from the sewer where he gets disoriented by the light and webs him up and hands him to the police. Kraven leaves a full confession for the police of how he impersonated Spider-Man.
