Spider-Man, Iceman, Firestar, Marvel Boy, Namorita, Nova, Speedball, Night Thrasher, Hercules, She-Hulk, Thor, and Captain America aid in efforts to help people and stop the storm. The Avant Guard is behind it as some crazy art project. Spidey fights Spark and Bora before Bora causes Spider-Man to be frozen in ice.

Spider-Man leads Firelord in a chase all over the city and blows him up a few times, but Firelord just won’t stay down. Spider-Man eventually just goes for an all-out attack on him, jumping around like a jack rabbit and landing his hardest punches on him. He knocks Firelord unconscious. The Avengers (Captain America, The Wasp, Starfox, Hercules, and Black Knight) finally show up and are amazed at his success.
