Spider-Man is investigating a chemical company called Sapirdyne who’s supplying cocaine processing chemicals to South America. Cardiac keeps showing up and destroying the chemicals before Spidey can find clues of the bigger picture. They’re both trying to do good but in different ways. Hammer gives Rhino a new suit and he fights Cardiac and Spidey at one of the plants. Cardiac blows up the factory.

Eddie Brock is sharing a jail cell with a serial killer named Cletus. Cletus sees some Venom-like eyes out the window.

Too much time passes and Scorpion escapes with Musgrave. His employer Hammer sends Backlash and Rhino after Scorpion for betraying their agreement. Spider-Man looks for Scorpion and finds him. There’s a big fight between Backlash and Spider-man and Rhino and Scorpion. Scorpion is defeated and Rhino and Backlash flee at the sound of sirens, but can’t find Musgrave in time. Harry and Liz have a new apartment in Manhattan, it’s one of Norman’s properties that Harry inherited.

The Scorpion is back with a new suit. A tail that can wrap around things, a stinger that can shoot gas and acid, and a mask that prevents getting webbing over the eyes. He’s hired by the Hammer to kidnap General Musgrave. When he goes to kidnap him, Spider-Man shows up and fights him, but Scorpion gets Musgrave anyway and decides he wants Jameson instead. He says one way or another somebody is going to die, Musgrave or Jameson.
