Spider-Man saved everybody from the bomb just before Simon Steele set it off. Dominic Fortune goes into the hospital after faking a heart attack to lure an assassin. After the assassin shoots a dummy of Fortune and thinks he killed him, he leaves and heads back to Steele. Fortune, Spider-Man, and Sable follow. Fortune finds his old love Sabbath and she explains to him how she ended up marrying Steele. Simon Steele is defeated. Fortune and Sabbath try again at love.

Simon Steele (a Nazi in hiding) is assassinating witnesses that will put him away. Dominic Fortune wants revenge because Steele killed his son. At Steele’s attack on final last witness, Spider-Man meets Silver Sable and her Wild Pack taking out all of Steele’s men. They go to Fortune’s place where a second attack is taking place. They all defeat the goons and find out where Steele is. Dominic is about to kill him but Spider-Man and Sable stop him. Dominic’s love, Sabbath, who helped him beat Nazis even before WWII who disappeared is there and asks him not to kill Steele. In the hesitation, a plexiglass shield lowers (trapping Spidey, Sable, and Fortune) and Steele, Sabbath and Sabbath’s daughter escape. Sabbath is apparently married to Steele. As they get away, they blow the mansion up.

One of the Atlanteans has started claiming to have a miracle cure for drug addiction in an attempt to turn addicts into lizard people for their army. Spider-Man and Cloak & Dagger investigate. Spider-Man gets charmed by the man after discovering the plot. Dagger gets kidnapped by them and when Cloak gets her back, something has happened to her. Continued in Daredevil.

A short story about Hobie Brown (aka The Prowler) and trying to invent some device that will save construction workers if they fall.

More prequel to current Atlantis story. After plunging into the sea, the new god for Atlantis was Neptune. Atlanteans began worshipping the demon serpent named Set. Neptune got angry and destroyed their altar to him. Set vowed revenge. Some guy finds the serpent crown and puts it on, becoming the emperor of Lemuria and begins a reign of terror.
