“Acts of Vengeance: These Scattered Senses (or a Tale of the Brothers Grimm)”

Rating: 4/5

Writer: Gerry Conway

The Wizard frees the Brothers Grimm from jail and tells them of the vengeance plot. They agree to kill Spider-Man. Jonah tells Peter he’s creating a new magazine in retaliation for the hostile takeover of the Bugle and asks Peter to come join him. Peter says he’ll call him. Spider-Man’s spider sense is extremely sensitive now and buzzes even at a mouse crawling in the wall. He fights the Brothers Grimm at Madison Square Garden and they see how powerful he is, rethink their deal and run away. Spidey’s having trouble controlling his new powers.
