“The Name of the Rose Part 3: The Dark Within”

Rating: 5/5

Writer: Howard Mackie
Artist: Alex Saviuk

Kingpin thinks Richard is weak and soft. Peter has been letting his anger get the best of him and nearly taking things too far when questioning criminals. Richard frees Hobgoblin from jail. Hobgoblin’s demon half believes he’s on a mission from God to kill sinners. After encountering Spider-Man, Hobgoblin’s demon half manages to tear itself apart from the human side (Jason Macendale). Spidey calls the demon form the Demogoblin. He punches Demogoblin but burns his hand. Demogoblin can materialize flaming pumpkin bombs (and presumably any number of things). Rose doesn’t like Richard’s actions and thinks involving Hobgoblin is a mistake.
