Just stumbled across this page. WOW! Thank you for posting this. Haven’t watched your videos yet but went throught comics that I still own. I started collecting in 84 all the way through 92. After that, I couldn’t keep up with all the titles and spinoffs and crossovers so I stopped. Plus, I didn’t like the whole idea of a clone and the Ben Reilly thing at all. Anyway, how is your reading coming along? Do you OWN all of these comics???? If you do, wow!!

Thanks! I’m trying to help people understand the chronology of all the crossovers and spinoffs so they don’t have to do it themselves. It certainly is a daunting task. I’ve actually been taking a break from this for the last 6 months or so. One reason is that my laptop has been a lot slower and it has no battery so it needs to be plugged in all the time. It makes it difficult to read the comics, shoot the videos, and edit the videos. But I really want to get back into it. Another reason is just that it’s very strenuous to try to maintain reading an average of three comics per day. Ridiculous, I know. “Oh, man, you have to read comics every day? That must REALLY suck.” But it’s more difficult than you think. I put too much of myself in everything I do and I get burnt out too quickly.

And no, I unfortunately don’t own all of these comics. In fact I own very few of these comics. But I am making it my mission to own every issue, because I love Spider-Man so much. A lot of the issues and stories I’ve read so far have actually really helped me and connected with me emotionally.

Thanks for your support! Every encouragement or sign that ANYBODY cares at all about what I’m doing here helps me gain the motivation to continue doing this.
