The public loves Spider-Man now that Jameson isn’t at the Bugle printing hateful propaganda about him. The Molten Man is released from prison. He’s meeting his step-sister Liz (Harry’s wife) at their house and wants $10,000. She asks for help from Pete, and MJ takes her out while Pete takes care of it. Peter changes into Spider-Man and waits in her apartment. They fight and trash the place, but it turns out that The Molten Man just wanted a loan to start a new life. He wants to go straight. Harry decides to give him a job at his chemical plant.
