Mary Jane’s sister is in jail for stealing and hiding a valuable manuscript for her father. Mary Jane and Peter recover the manuscript but get attacked by Smythe in his Spider Slayer. Spider-Man and Mary Jane beat the Slayer together and Mary Jane realizes what a good team they make. She gets her father to unwittingly confess everything with cops right outside the door and he’s arrested. Mary Jane then comes to her senses and says yes to Peter’s marriage proposal.
