Little Alex, the kid who gained superpowers and accidentally killed his abusive father, is on the run and some cops approach him with intensions of taking him to school, but he blows up their car. Spider-Man shows up soon after and then finds the kid. SHIELD gets wind of the situation and sets out to kill the kid. Spider-Man tries to protect him. Spidey saves Alex from the Mandroids but some bull-headed agent from shield shoots Alex in the back with several lasers from his flying car.
