“102 Uses For a Dead Cat”

Rating: 4/5

Writer: Peter David
Artist: Rich Buckler

Black Cat miraculously beats up the goons and escapes with the contents of the safe (which include Peter’s golden notebook). Sabretooth wants to work for Foreigner. It was Foreigner’s safe that Black Cat robbed, so Sabretooth volunteers to go kill her. Spider-Man visits Black Cat to let her know that Dr. Strange’s spell may have taken away her bad luck powers. She doesn’t handle this news well. Sabretooth attacks her and Spider-Man intervenes. During his fight, Spider-Man shoots webbing onto Sabretooth’s face. Sabretooth rips it off but it takes his face with it and Spider-Man takes him to the hospital. Also, another story that’s been going on for a few months about a kid who’s being abused by his father. His teacher files a lawsuit. The family moves to a different school district. The kid messes with one of his dad’s machines and his hand gets zapped by something. It makes his hand glow and he loses control of it at one point and accidentally vaporizes his dad.
