Flash is in jail because he’s thought to be the Hobgoblin. A villain who calls himself the Scourge of the Underworld sneaks in and tries to kill him. Spider-Man intervenes but the Scourge gets away. Outside, he runs into Jean DeWolff’s brother Brian in his costumed identity of the Wraith and shoots him dead.
