Web of Spider-Man #13 (1986)

“Point of View”

Rating: 5/5

Writer: Peter David
Artist: Mike Harris

While Spider-Man is swinging through the city, a man sees him, gets scared, and runs right into traffic. Spider-Man saves him from being injured too badly. The public and Jonah Jameson twist the facts and claim that Spider-Man came after the guy and made a truck hit him. Spider-Man reaches his breaking point, and gets insurmountably pissed off and crashes into Jameson’s office to yell at him and scare some sense into him. The cat has Jameson’s tongue as Spidey chases him around the office and grabs him and yells in his face. Spider-Man then leaves and Robbie tells Jameson that Ben Urich got the goods on the man that ran into traffic. He’s a con man and thought Spider-Man was about to bust him. Jameson tells him to run the story, and when he’s alone again, admits to himself that maybe he’s wrong about Spider-Man.
