The Hobgoblin submerges himself in Osborn’s strength enhancing liquid and then decides to go after Spider-Man to test his new strength. The Black Cat is allowed to go home from the hospital. Her and Spider-Man go out at night on the rooftops for some webslinging thrills. They meet up with Hobgoblin and Black Cat’s interference with Spider-Man’s actions and just her general presence being in danger causes Spider-Man to realize that it’s probably not a good idea for them to crime fight together. After Black Cat mucks up one of Spider-Man’s plans, Hobgoblin sees they’re their own worst enemies and flies away to fight on another day.
