In the style of an old Noir film, J. Jonah Jameson narrates his investigation of some gang at the docks to prove he can still get a scoop better than anybody and that he’s still a great reporter. As his investigation leads to the docks where a gang tries to kill him, Spider-Man stays close behind and takes care of the baddies when Jameson’s not looking. Later Spider-Man reveals that he was there, clueing Jameson in about how he managed to survive.
