Peter Parker, the Spectacular Spider-Man #075 (1983)

“Ferae Naturae (Wild Beasts)”

Rating: 5/5

Writer: Bill Mantlo
Artist: Al Milgrom

Spider-Man officially decides to “go steady” with The Black Cat. Then, back at The Black Cat’s hotel room, Doctor Octopus breaks in and kidnaps Black Cat.

Spider-Man finds out from Kingpin that the device Doc Ock wants that Owl has is a neutron bomb. Octopus plans to destroy all of New York. No money. He just wants to destroy it and prove he’s the most dangerous man alive.

Soon, Spider-Man, Doc Ock (carrying Black Cat) meet up with Owl at his hideout. Doc Ock and Owl fight. Ock defeats Owl by ripping off his talons, cloak, and braces on his legs (that allow him to walk). Spider-Man, angry ever, beats the living daylights out of all the Owl and Octopus goons and goes to fight Doc Ock. And Spider-Man, sick and tired of all Doc’s crap and angry at him for laying his tentacles on Black Cat, rips all four mechanical arms out of Doc Ock’s body.
