A villain called Ringer gets his costume out of the Tinkerer’s workshop, but another villain comes by at the same time and knocks him out. When Ringer wakes up he’s forced to find and fight Spider-Man. After Spider-Man destroys Ringer and leaves him for the cops, the mysterious villain from earlier is actually The Beetle who was collecting data on how Spider-Man fights so he can defeat him.
