Spider-Man manages to rescue the last person from the burning building. Wizard and his mysterious partner free Sandman and Trapster from prison to reform the Frightful Four.

Sub-Mariner hassles the Peter’s new neighbor lady, and Spider-Man saves her and fights Sub-Mariner. Sub-Mariner tries to tell Spidey that the girl is not what she seems. She’s actually an old enemy of his named Llyra in disguise as a normal woman and is the mysterious person who broke Wizard from jail and is now working with him. Wizard shoots Spider-Man and Sub-Mariner with some device as they’re fighting and some kind of great pain comes over them.
